Bagaha journalists demand speedy trial of killers of 2 Bhojpur scribes

Bagaha : The journalists at Bagaha, a Sub-Disional Town in West Champaran district, held an urgent meeting on March 27, 2018, under the leadership of Tirthraj Kushwaha, a senior scribe, to discuss the situation in the wake of killing of two journalists: Navin Kumar Singh and Vijay Singh, at Garhani in Bhojpur district on March 26, 2018.

Strongly condemning the brutal killings of the two journalist, the Bagaha journalists have demanded speedy trial of the accused and a compensation of Rs 50 lakh each to the next of kin of the two slain scribes. Over a dozen journalists attended the meeting. They also urged the Bihar Government to ensure safety and security of the journalists in the state.
