Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far increased to 2,52,400 on December 30, 2020, afternoon, as 474 more persons including 197 from Patna, 31 from Saran, and 22 from Begusarai, tested positive to the pandemic on December 29, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 20 persons from Muzaffarpur, 17 from Nalanda, 14 from Aurangabad, 13 each from Bhagalpur and East Champaran, 12 Madhepura, 11 from Madhubani, 10 vrom Samastipur, 9 each from Saharsa and Siwan, 8 from Katihar, 7 each from Lakhisarai, Gaya, and Jehanabad, and 6 from Vaishali and Arwal, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 29, 2020.
Of the 2,52,400 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,46,386 patients have been declared cured including 558 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.62%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 4,620 on December 30, 2020. The state has tested 1,82,27,119 samples so far including 1,12,472 samples on December 29, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,393 in Bihar on December 30, 2020, with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including one each from Saran, Sheikhpura, Jehanabad, and Begusarai.
