Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar till date rose to 2,51,926 on December 29, 2020, afternoon, as 622 more persons including 241 from Patna, 47 from Aurangabad, 46 from Muzaffarpur, and 27 from Begusarai,tested positive to the pandemic on December 28, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 21 persons from Saran, 17 from Nalanda, 14 from Bhagalpur, 13 each from Jehanabad and Siwan, 12 from Gaya, 11 from Gopalganj, 10 each from Arwal and Darbhanga, 9 each from Kaimur, Mdhubani, Saharsa, and Vaishali, 8 each from Araria, Bhojpur, Kishanganj, and Purnia, 7 from Banka, 6 each from Buxar, East Champaran, Katihar, and Lakhisarai, and 5 each from Samastipur and Supaul, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 28, 2020.
Of the 2,51,926 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,45,828 patients have been declared cured including 523 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.58%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 4,708 on December 29, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,81,14,647 samples so far including 1,14,808 samples on December 28, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,389 in Bihar on December 29, 2020, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including one each in Patna, Madhubani, and Purnia. The toll increased to 378 in Patna on December 29, 2020.
