Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,51,304 on December 28, 2020, as 309 more persons including 121 from Patna, 20 from West Champaran, 16 from Gaya, tested positive to the pandemic on December 27, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 14 persons each from Muzaffarpur and Saharsa, 13 from Lakhisarai, 11 each from Arwal and Saran, 10 from Begusarai, 9 from Jehanabad, 7 from East Champaran, 6 each from Samastipur and Sitamarhi, and 5 each from Bhojpur, Nalanda, and Vaishali, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 27, 2020.
Of the 2,51,304 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar, altogether 2,45,305 patients have been declared cured including 617 duri ng last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.61%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 4,612 on December 28, 2020. The state has tested 1,79,99,839 samples so far including 97,,814 samples on December 27, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,86 in Bihar on December 28, 2020, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours, all three from Patna. The toll jumped to 377 in Patna on December 28, 2020. including
