Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar increased to 2,50,450 on December 26, 2020, afternoon, as 474 more persons including 196 from Patna, 28 from Muzaffarpur, and 20 from Sitamarhi, tested positive to the pandemic on December 25, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 14 persons from Nawada, 13 each from Araria and Arwal, 12 each from Khagaria, Lakhisarai, and Saran, 11 each from Banka, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Nalanda, and Vaishali, 10 from Bhojpur, 9 from Purnia, 8 from Saharsa, 7 from Madhepura, and 6 each from Siwan, Supaul, and Darbhanga, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 25, 2020.
Of the 2,50,450 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar, altogether 2,43,985 patients have been declared cured including 730 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.42%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,085 on December 26, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,77,87,811 samples so far including 1,02,055 samples on December 25, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,379 in Bihar on December 26, 2020,with 6 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 4 in Patna, and one each in Begusarai and Supaul. The toll climbed to 373 in Patna on December 26, 2020.
