Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far increased to 2,47,531 on December 21, 2020, afternoon, as 287 more persons including 113 from Patna, 18 from Jehanaabad, 14 from Khagaria, and 10 each from Araria and Saran tested positive to the Pandemic on December 20, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 9 persons from Samastiputr, 8 persons each from Nawada and Purnia, 7 each from Begusarai, Bhagalpur, and Muzaffarpur, 6 each from Bhojpur, Buxar, Kishanganj, and Sitamarhi, 5 each from East Champaran, Gaya, and Jamui, and 4 from Rohtas, also tested positive to the pandemic on December 20, 2020.
Of the 2,47,531 Covid-19 ases recorded till date in Bihar, altogether 2,41,358 patients have been declared cured including 443 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 97.51 %. The number of active cases in Bihar was 4,814 on December 21, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,72,17,553 samples so far including 1,02,890 samples on December 20, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,358 on December 21, 2020, with 6 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 3 in Patna, and one each in Munger, Nawada, and Vaishali.The toll jumped to 363 in Patna on December 21, 2020.
