Patna : The number of Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar jumped to 2,42,152 on December 11, 2020, afternoon, as 618 more persons including 201 from Patna, 59 from Gopalganj, 26 from Gaya, and 25 from Jehanabad, tested positive to it on December 10, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 22 persons from Purnia, 21 from Nalanda, 20 each from Bhagalpur and Nawada, 18 each from Muzaffalpur and Katihar, 14 each from Banka, East Champaran, Vaishali, and Saharsa, 13 from Samastipur, and 10 each from Siwan and Darbhanga, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 10, 2020.
Of the 2,42,152 Covid-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar, a total of 2,35,614 patients have been declared cured including 674 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.30%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,225 on December 11, 2020. The state has tested 1,60,33,415 samples so far including 1,24,628 samples on December 10, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll rose to 1,312 in Bihar on December 11, 2020, with 5 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 3 from Patna and one each from Aurangabad and Bhojpur. The toll increased to 339 in Patna on December 11, 2020.
