Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,39,565 on December 7, 2020, afternoon, as 439 more persons including 170 persons from Patna, 29 from Purnia, 19 from Gaya, and 18 from Muzaffarpur, tested positive to it on December 6, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 15 persons each from Saran, Bhagalpur, and Nalanda, 14 from Siwan, 13 from Araria, 12 from East Champaran, 11 each from Darbhanga and Katihar, 10 from Banka, 9 from Supaul, 8 from Jehanabad, and 7 from Sitamarhi, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 6, 2020.
Of the 2,39,565 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,33,117 patients have been declared cured including679 during last 24 hours. The number of active cases in the state was 5,150 on December 7, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,55,39,015 samples including 1,10,413 samples on December 6, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,297 in Bihar on December 7, 2020, as 2 new deaths were recorded in the state during last 24 hours including one each from Rohtas and Banka.
