Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar climbed to 2,37,968 on December 4, 2020, afternoon, as 619 more persons including 211 from Patna, 64 from Gopalganj, 31 from Purnia, and 22 from Muzaffarpur, tested positive to it on December 3, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 20 persons from Banka, 19 from East Champaran, 18 from Begusarai, 16 from Bhagalpur, 15 from Vaishali, 14 each from Saran and Rohtas, Sheikhpura, 12 each from Araria and Aurangabad, 11 from Madhubani, and 10 from Munger, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 3, 2020.
Of the 2,37,968 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar till date, a total of 2,31,108 patients have been declared cured including 605 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.12 %. The number of active cases in the state was 5,572 on December 4, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,51,74,056 samples so far including 1,26,505 samples on December 3, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,287 in Bihar on December 4, 2020, with 6 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna, and one each from Saran, Jehanabad, Aurangabad, and Sheikhpura. The toll increased to 334 in Patna on December 4.
