Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far climbed to 2,35,616 on November 30, 2020, as 457 more persons including 154 from Patna, 29 each from Saharsa and Purnia, and 22 from Saran, tested positive to it on November 29, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 21 persons from Muzaffarpur, 18 from Samastipur, 16 each from Gaya and Nwada, 15 each from Bhagalpur and Jamui, 14 from Nalanda, 10 from Madhepura, 9 from Supaul, 8 each from Araria and Darbhanga, 7 each from East Champaran and Siwan, 6 from Arwal, and 5 each from Aurangabad, Kishanganj, and Madhubani, also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 29, 2020.

Of the  2,35,616 Covid -19 cases recorded in the state till date, altogether 2,28,798 patients have been declared cured including 547 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.11%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,553 on November 30, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,46,64,431 samples so far including 1,16,443 samples on November 29, 2020.

The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,264 in Bihar on November 30, 2020, with 5 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including one each from Patna, Arwal, East Champaran, Madhubani, and Kishanganj. The toll increased to 326 in Patna on November 30.
