New Delhi : New Covid-19 cases again exceeded the recoveries in last 24 hours in India. A total of 22,854 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,12,85,561 cases in the country on March 11, 2021. On the other hand, a total of 18,100 patients were declared cured in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,09,38,146 in the country on March 11, 2021 11, 2021.
The active cases in India rose to 1,89,226 on March 11, 2021, an increase of 4,628 cases in last 24 hours. The active cases on March 11, 2021, accounted for 1.68% of the total Covid-19 cases (1,12,85,561) recorded so far in India. Of the 1,12,85,561 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in India, altogether 1,09,38, 146 patients have been declared cured with the recovery rate (RR) being 96.92% on March 11, 2021.
India has tested 22,42,58,293 samples so far including 7,78,416 samples on March 10, 2021. Meanwhile, 2,56,85,011 persons have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in India so far including 13,17,357 beneficiaries on March 10, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,58,189 in India on March 11, 2021, with 126 new deaths being recorded in the country in last 24 hours including 54 in Maharashtra, 17 in Punjab, 14 in Kerala, 8 in Chhattisgarh, 6 in Karnataka, 5 in Tamilnadu, 3 in Delhi, 3 in Madhya Pradesh, 3 in J&K, 3 in Goa, 3 in Telengana, 2 in Haryana, 2 in West Bengal, 2 in Uttarakhand, 1 in Andhra Pradesh, and 1 in Bihar. India had recorded 133 new deaths on March 10, 2021.
