Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,35,159 on November 29, 2020, afternoon, as 606 more persons including 234 from Patna, 31 from Bhagalpur, 27 from Purnia, 22 from Muzaffarpur, and 21 from Gaya, tested positive to it on November 28, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 20 persons from Begusarai, 18 from East Champaran, 17 from Saran, 13 each from Lakhisarai and Gopalganj, 12 each from Samastipur, Katihar, Araria, Banka and Samastipur, and 11 each from West Champaran, Supaul, Vaishali, also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 28, 2020.
Of the 2,35,159 Covid-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar, altogether 2,28,251 patients have been declared cured including 537 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.06%. The number of active case in Bihar was 5,648 on November 29, 2020. The state has tested 1,45,47,988 samples so far including 1,35,944 samples on November 28, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,259 in Bihar on November 29, 2020, with 6 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 3 from Patna, 2 from Gaya, and 1 from Gaya.
