New Delhi : The exponential increase in the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured continues in India reaching 2,27,755 at 8 am on June 21, 2020, an increase of 13,925 during last 24 hours. In Maharashtra alone, 64,153 patients have been cured till date followed by 31,316 in Tamilnadu, 31,294 in Delhi, 18,694 in Gujarat, 11,274 in Rajasthan, 8,880 in MP, 9,995 in UP, 7,865 in West Bengal, 5,529 in Bihar, and 1,335 in Jharkhand. The number of active cases stands at 1,69,451 in the country.
Coronavirus death toll has climbed to 13,254 in India, an increase of 306 during last 24 hours with Maharashtra reporting 91 new deaths while Delhi reported 77 new deaths. The death toll has crossed one hundred mark in Andhra Pradesh reaching 101 on June 21, 2020, recording five new deaths in last 24 hours. MP and Tamilnadu recorded 38 new deaths each.
