Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,33,840 on November 27, 2020, afternoon, as 698 more 698 more persons including 180 from Patna, 50 from Aurangabad, 41 ffrom Purnia, 29 from Madhubani, and 28 from Muzaffarpur, tested positive to it on November 26, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 25 persons each from Saharsa, Araria, and Saran, 23 from Vaishali, 22 from Sitamarhi, 21 from Supaul, 18 from Katihar, 17 each from Darbhanga, Nalanda and Samastipur, 15 each from Bhagalpur and Gaya, 12 each from Madhepura and Jehanabad, 11 from East Champaran, and 10 each from Begusarai, Buxar, and Bhojpur, also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 26, 2020.

Of the 2,33,840 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far, altogether 2,27,046 patients have been declared cured including 654 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.09%. Bihar has tested 1,42,75,274 samples so far including 1,36,359 samples on November 26, 2020. The number of active cases in the state was 5,545 on November 27, 2020.

Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,248 in Bihar on November 27, 2020, with 5 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 2 from Bhagalpur, and one each from Munger, East Champaran, and West Champaran. The toll increased to 73 in Bhagalpur on November 27.
