Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far climbed to 2,33,142 on November 26, 2020, afternoon, as 682 more persons including 211 from Patna, 34 from Bhagalpur, 34 from Muzaffarpur, 28 from Gaya, and 27 from Araria tested positive to it on November 25, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 23 persons each from Darbhanga and Supaul, 22 from Purnia, 21 from Saran, 19 from Madhubani, 18 from Buxar, 16 from East Champaran, 13 each from Jehanabad and Rohtas, 11 each from Bhojpur and Begusarai, and 10 each Sheohar, Vaishali, West Champaran, and Katihar, and 9 each from Banka and Kaimur, also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 25, 2020.
Of the 2,33,142 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar so far, altogether 2,26,392 patients have been declared cured including 595 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.10 %. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,506 on November 26, 2020. The state has tested 1,41,38,915 samples till date including 1,35,936 samples on November 25, 2020.
Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,243 in Bihar on November 26, 2020, with 6 new daeths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including one each from Siwan, Bhojpur, Jamui, Munger, East Champaran, and Purnia.
