Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar jumped to 2,32,460 on November 25, 2020, with 763 more persons including 292 from Patna, 34 from Muzaffarpur, 31 from Bhagalpur, 28 from Purnia, 26 from Katihar, and 26 from Nalanda, testing positive to the disease on November 24, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 23 persons from East Champaran, 22 from Saharsa, 19 from Vaishali, 19 from Gaya, 17 from Aurangabad, 17 from Munger, 16 each from Banka and Begusarai, 14 from Siwan, 13 each from Saran and Supaul, 11 each from Sitamarhi and Madhepura, and 10 each from Araria and Jehanabad, also tested positive gto Covid-19 on November 24, 2020.

Of the 2,32,460 Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar till date, altogether 2,25,797 patients have been declared cured including 350 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.13%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,425 on November 25, 2020. Bihar has tested 1,40,02,979 samples so far including 1,31,743 samples on November 24, 2020.

The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,237 in the state with 4 new deaths being recorded last 24 hours including one each from Patna, Rohtas, Bhagalpur, and Jamui. The toll increased to 320 in Patna on November 25, 2020.
