Patna : Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,30,632 on November 22, 2020, afternoon, as 385 more persons including 97 from Patna, 38 from Muzaffarpur, and 28 from Nawada, tested positive to the disease on November 21, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 15 persons each from Darbhanga and Supaul, 14 each from Bhagalpur, Jamui, and Jehanabad, 13 from Araria, 11 from Saharsa, 10 each from Banka, Munger, and Siwan, 9 from Nalanda, 7 each from Gaya, Lakhisarai, and Samastipur, 6 from Madhepura, 5 each from Katihar, Madhubani, and Sheikhpura, and 4 each from East Champaran and West Champaran, also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 21, 2020.
Of the 2,30,632 Covid-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar, altogether 2,24,221 patients have been declared cured including 606 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.22%. Bihar has tested 1,36,37,477 samples so far including 93,935 samples on November 21, 2020. The number of active cases was 5,189 in Bihar on November 22, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,221 in Bihar with 5 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna and one each from Madhepura, Muzaffarpur, and Saran. The toll jumped to 312 in Patna on November 22, 2020.
