Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,30,247 on November 21, 2020, afternoon, as 278 more persons tested positive to it on November 20, 2020, including 109 from Patna, 17 from Muzaffarpur, 13 each from Bhagalpur, Nalanda and Saran, 12 from Purnia, and 11 each from Sitamarhi and Vaishali.

According to State Health Department figure,  8 persons from Gaya, 7 from Madhepura, 6 each from Jehanabad, Saharsa and Araria, 5 each from Darbhanga and Nawada, and 4 each from Aurangabad, Bhojpur, Munger, and Supaul, also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 20, 2020.

Of the 2,30,247 Covid-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar, altogether 2,23,615 patients have been declared cured including 462 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.12. The number of active cases in the state was 5,415 on November 21, 2020. Bihar has tested  1,35,43,542 samples so far including 85,174 samples on November 20, 2020.

The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,216 in BIhar on November 21 with 4 new deaths being recorded during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna and one each from Siwan and East Champaran. The toll increased to 310 in Patna on November 21.
