Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,29,969 on November 20, 2020, afternoon, as 495 more persons including 183 from Patna, 22 from Begusarai, 21 from Muzaffarpur, 19 from Bhagalpur, and 18 from Purnia, tested positive to it on November 19, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 16 persons from Saharsa, 15 from Samastipur, 15 from Saran, 14 from Bhojpur, 13 from Lakhisarai, 13 from Madhubani, 12 from Vaishali, 11 from Gaya, 10 from East Chaparan, 10 from Araria, 8 from Madhepura, 7 from Aurangabad, 7 from West Champaran, 7 from Banka, 7 from Jamui, 7 from Munger, 6 from Kishanganj, 6 from Nawada, and 6 from Sitamarhi, also tested positive to Covid-19 on November 18, 2020.

Of the 2,29,969 Covid-19 cases reported in the state so far, altogether 2,23,153 patients have been declared cured including 661 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.04%. Bihar has tested 1,34,58,368 samples so far including 1,08,578 samples on November 19, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,603 on November 20, 2020.

Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,212 in Bihar on November 20, 2020, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including one dach from Patna, Bhagalpur, and Saharsa. The toll increased to 308 in Patna on November 20.
