Patna : The number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Bihar rose to 2,62,728 on March 6, 2021, afternoon, as 22 more persons including 14 from Patna and 2 from Nalanda tested positive for the pandemic on March 5, 2021. The number of active cases in Bihar dropped to 333 in Bihar including 142 in Patna on March 6 from 340 on March 5, 2021.
Of the 2,62,728 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,60, 849 patients have been declared cured so far including 28 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.28%. Bihar has tested 2,26,23,383 samples so far including 28,951 samples on March 5, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,545 in Bihar on March 6, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in Munger in last 24 hours. With this, the toll climbed to 57 in Munger.
