Patna : The COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar climbed to 2,26,669 on November 14, 2020, afternoon, as 588 more persons including 184 from Patna, 38 from Bhagalpur, 24 from Araria, 20 from Gopalganj, and 20 from Nalanda, tested positive to the disease on November 13, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 19 persons from Muzaffarpur, 18 from Vaishali, 18 from Aurangabad, 16 from Gaya, 16 from Madhubani, 14 from East Champaran, 14 from Saran, 13 from Purnia, 12 from Madhepura, 12 from Begusarai, 12 from Darbhanga, 11 from Jehanabad, 11 from Nawada, 10 from Supaul, and 10 from Rotas, also tested tested positive to COVID-19 on November 14, 2020.

Of the 2,26,669 COVID-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar, a total of 2,19,250 patients have been declared cured including 422 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 96.73%. The State has tested 1,27,72,706 samples so far including 1,27,011 samples on November 13, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 6,239 on November 14, 2020.

The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,179 in Bihar on November 14, 2020, with 5 new deaths being recorded during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna and one each from Nalanda, Muzaffarpur, and Rohtas. The toll increased to 294 in Patna on November 14, 2020.
