Patna : The COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,25,500 on November 12, 2020, afternoon, as 523 more persons including 112 from Patna, 27 from Muzaffarpur, 26 from Araria, and 22 from Purnia, tested positive to it on November 11, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 20 persons from Begusarai, 19 from Katihar, 19 from Jehanabad, 17 from Madhepura, 15 from East Champaran, 14 from Gaya, 14 ffrom Nalanda, 14 from Lakhisarai, 13 each Aurangabad, Gopalganj, and Bhojpur, 12 from Madhubani, 11 from West Champaran, and 10 each from Supaul, Vaishali, and Bhagalpur, also tested positive to COVID-19.
Of the 2,25,500 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of ts 2,17,958 patients have been declared cured including 536 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 96.66%. The State has tested 1,25,10,088 samples till date including 1,35,320 samples on November 11, 2020. The number of active cases was 6,374 in Bihar on November 12, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll increased to 1,167 in Bihar on November 12, 2020, with 5 new deaths being recorded during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna and one each from Vaishali, Buxar, and Sitamarhi.The toll increased to 290 in Patna on November 12.
