Patna : The number of COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,20,992 on November 6, 2020, afternoon, as 746 more persons including 228 from Patna, 62 from Nalanda, 34 from Rohtas, 30 from Muzaffarpur, 30 from Gaya, and 29 from Bhagalpur, tested positive to it on November 5, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 21 persons each from Sitamarhi and Nawada, 20 from Kishanganj, 18 from Saharsa, 17 each from Madhepura and Begusarai, 16 each from Siwan and Buxar, 15 from Jamui, 14 from Gopalganj, also tested positive to COVID-19 on November 5, 2020.

Of the 2,20,992 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,12,911 have been declared cured including 613 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 96.34%. The state has tested 1,17,38,124 samples so far including 1,36,920 samples on November 5, 2020.The number of active cases in Bihar was 6,951 on November 6, 2020.

The COVID-19 toll jumped to 1,129 in Bihar on November 6, 2020, with 8 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 3 from Patna, and one each from Madhepura, East Champaran, West Champaran, Nalanda, and Purnia. The toll jumped to 275 in Patna on November 6.,
