Patna : COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,18,964 on November 3, 2020, afternoon, as 846 more persons including 203 from Patna, 76 from Saharsa, 75 from Araria, 51 from Nalanda, 46 from Purnia, and 35 from Muzaffarpur, tested positive to it on November 2, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 31 persons from Bhagalpur, 27 from Jehanabad, 25 from Nawada, 24 from Gaya, 18 from Aurangabad, 17 from Saran, 16 from Madhepura, 14 each from Begusarai, Jamui, and East Champaran, 13 from Samastipur, and 12 from Madhubani, also tested positive to COVID-19 on November 2, 2020.
Of the 2,18,964 COVID-19 cases recorded till date in the state, a total of 2,10,855 patients have been declared cured including 875 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 96.30%. The state has tested 1,13,35,843 samples so far including 1,43,642 samples on November 2, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 7,000 on November 3, 2020.
The COVID-19 toll jumped to 1,108 in Bihar on November 3, 2020, with 7 new deaths being reported during last 24 hours including one each from Patna, Nalanda, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Nawada, Vaishali, and Bhojpur. The toll increased to 270 in Patna and 50 in Nalanda on November 3, 2020.
