Bagaha: Twentyone couples from poor families tied nuptial knot at dowry less mass marriage ceremony on April 11, 2018, evening, organised here under the aegis of Shree Bhagawat Anathalaya Seva Sansthan, Bagaha-2 unit, in West Champaran district.
Priest Phalahari Baba was the organisor of the wedding function at Vimalkant Chaudhary Playground under Nagar Parishad, Bagaha. He said that the objective of the Sansthan is to help those who can’t bear the expenses of a wedding ceremony. ” We got marriage of 21 such couples solemnised with the entire wedding expenses borne by the Sansthan. We organised everything from priest to wedding attire, gifts to the newlywed couples, feast,” said Phalahari Baba on April 12, 2018.
It may be mentioned here a mass marriage ceremony was recently organised at Bhairoganj bazzar under Bagaha-1 block where which 15 couples from poor families tied nuptial knot at a dowry less community marriage.
