Patna : The COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,18,118 on November 2, 2020, afternoon, as 577 more persons including 166 from Patna, 66 from Purnia, 31 from Gaya, and 29 from Aurangabad, tested positive to it on November 1, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 25 persons from Kishanganj, 20 from Muzaffarpur, 18 from Jehanabad, 16 from Nalanda, 15 each from Samastipur, Bhagalpur and Lakhisarai, 14 each from Araria and Vaishali, 11 each from Saran and Supaul, 10 from Siwan, 9 from Bhojpur, 8 from Sheikhpura, 7 from Madhubani, and 6 each from Saharsa and Madhepura, also tested positive to COVID-19 on November 1, 2020.

Of the 2,18,118 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,09,980 patients have been declared cured including 974 during last 24 hours. The state has tested 1,11,92,201 samples so far including 1,25,567 samples on November 1, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 7,036 on November 2, 2020.

The COVID-19 toll 1,101 in Bihar on November 2, 2020, with 4 new deaths being reported during last 24 hours including one each at Patna, Banka, Munger, and Siwan.
