New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured rose to 2,04,710 in India on at 8 am on June 19, 2020, an increase of 10,386 during last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,63,248 in the country. The recovery rate was 52.96 % on June 18,2020, evening. Coronavirus death toll has jumped to 12,573 in India with 336 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country during last 24 hours.

Altogether 60,838 Coronavirus patients have been cured in Maharashtra followed  by 28,641 in Tamilndu, 21,341 in Delhi, 17,819 in Gujarat, 10,742 in Rajasthan, 9,239 in Uttar Pradesh, 8,632 in MP, 7,001 in West Bengal, 5,056 in Bihar, 4,556 in Haryana, 4,983 in Karnataka, and 1,198 in Jharkhand.

Coronavirus death toll break-up is : Maharshtra (5,751), Delhi (1,969), Gujarat (1,591), Tamilnadu (625), West Bengal (518), MP (486), Uttar Pradesh (465), Rajasthan (323), Telengana (195), Haryana (134), Karnataka (114), Andhra Pradesh (92), Punjab (83), J&K (71), Bihar (44), Uttrakhand (26), Kerala (21), Jharkhand (11), Odisha (11), Chhattisgarh (10), Assam (9), Himachal Pradesh (8), Puducherry (7), Chandigarh (6), Ladakh (1), Meghalaya (1), and Tripura (1).

Maharashtra reported 100 new deaths during last 24 hours while Delhi reported 65 new deaths. Tamilnadu reported 49 new deaths while UP reported 30 new deaths during last 24 hours.

ER’S ASANSOL Division develops automatic bag sanitiser machine : As a part of Eastern Railway’s(ER) endeavour to prevent spread of COVID-19, an Automatic Bag Sanitiser Machine has been developed under its Asansol Division. The automatic bag sanitiser machine has a air blower pump with spray container and nozzle for fog type sanitising, according to a PIB release.
