Patna :The COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar climbed to 2,13,383 on October 27, 2020, afternoon, as 678 more persons including 231 from Patna, 35 from Samastipur, 29 from Muzaffarpur, 23 from Aurangabad, 21 from Gaya, and 21 from Jehanabad, and 20 from Purnia, tested positive to it on October 26, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 17 persons from Katihar, 17 from Nawada, 17 from Supaul, 16 from Bhojpur, 16 from Gopalganj, 16 from Madhepura, 15 from Saharsa, 14 from East Champaran,12 from Begusarai, 11 from Bhagalpur, and 10 from darbhanga, also tested positive to COVID-19 on October 26, 2020.

Of the 2,13,383 COVID-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar, altogether 2,03,244 patients have been declared cured including 1,237 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 95.25%. The state has tested 1,03,58,361 samples so far including 1,34,538 samples on October 26, 2020. The number of active cases was 9,073 in Bihar on October 27, 2020.

The COVID-19 toll rose to 1,065 in Bihar on October 27, 2020, with 7 new deaths being reported during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna, and 1 each from Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Jehanabad, and Madhepura. The toll increased to 261 in Patna and 67 in Bhagalpur on October 27.
