Patna : The COVID-19 cases recorded till date in Bihar rose to 2,12,705 on October 26, 2020, afternoon, as 513 more persons including 142 from Patna, 56 from Nawada, 36 from Gaya, and 31 from Purnia tested positive to it on October 25, 2020.

According to State Health Department figure, 22 persons from Muzaffarpur, 21 from Saharsa, 16 from West Champaran, 15 from Aurangabad, 14 from Madhepura, 12 each from Kishanganj, Bhagalpur,  and Jehanabad, 11 each from Gopalganj and East Champaran, and 7 from Bhojpur also tested positive to COVID-19 on October 25, 2020.

Of the 2,12,705 COVID-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,02,007 patients have been declared cured including  1,087 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 94.97%. The state has tested 1,02,23,823 samples so far including 1,24,501 samples on October 25, 2020. The number of active cases in the state was 9,639 on October 26, 2020.

COVID-19 toll jumped to 1,058 on October 26, 2020, with 9 new deaths being reported in the state during last 24 hours including 4 from Darbhanga one each from Saran, Supaul, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, and Bhagalpur.
