New Delhi : The exponential increase in the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured continues in India reaching 3,79,891 at 8 am on July 3, 2020, a leap of 20,032 during last 24 hours, exceeding the number of active cases by 1,52,452. The number of active cases stands at 2,27,439 in the country.

The Coronavirus death toll in India has increased to 18,214 with 380 new deaths including 115 from Maharashtra, 61 from Delhi, 57 from Tamilnadu, and 19 each from Gujarat and Karnataka, being reported from different parts of the country during last 24 hours.

COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (8,178), Delhi (2,864), Gujarat (1,886), Tamilnadu (1,321), UP (735), West Bengal (699), MP (589), Rajasthan (430),  Telengana (275), Karnataka (272), Haryana (251), Andhra Pradesh (198), Punjab (152), J&K (115),  Bihar (78), Uttarakhand (42), Odisha (27), Kerala (25), Jharkhand (15), Chhattisgarh (14), Assam (12), Puducherry (12), Himachal Pradesh (10), Chandigarh (6), Goa (4), Arunachal Pradesh (1), Ladakh(1), Meghalaya (1), and Tripura (1).

As far COVID-19 patients getting cured goes, in Maharashtra alone 1,01,172 patients have been cured followed by 63,007 in Delhi, 56,021 in Tamilnadu, 24,593 in Gujarat, 17,221 in UP, 14,948 in Rajasthan, 13,037 in West Bengal, 11,019 in Haryana, 10,815 in MP, 9,069 in Telengana, 8,334 in Karnataka,  8,020 in  Bihar, and 1,983 in Jharkhand.
