2 persons arrested in connection with kidnapping of Ara girl

Ara : Bhojpur police arrested Kamlesh Yadav of Tier and Sintu Rai of village Dechna under Piro police station in Bhojpur district on July 23, 2018, in connection with kidnapping of a teenage girl who was later forced to marry one Dheeraj Singh of Ara. Later, police sent them to jail. The main accused is. however, is still abosconding.

SHO, Nawada police station, Subodh Kumar, said that a teenage girl was kidnapped from Godhna road under Nawada police station, Ara, on July 1, 2018, and handed her over to one Birendra Singh of Haryana. Later, Birendra Singh forcibly married her to Dheeraj Singh of Gothhula under Ara Muffassil police station.

A named FIR was lodged on the statement of the mother of the girl. During investigation, police made two persons unnamed accused in the kidnapping case and arrested and sent them to jail though the main accused is still at large.
