2 love-birds commit suicide in Rohtas

Sasaram : Two love- birds committed suicide under the wheel of a running train near village Taradh on Ara-Sasaram rail section on January 27, 2019.

Police recovered the bodies lying in pool of blood from the railway track and brought them over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased were identified as Anita Kumari, 18, daughter of Bigu Rajwar, and Guru Rajwar, 20, son of Awadh Bihari Rajwar of Rampur village under Nokha police station in Rohtas district. Refusal of their parents to marry them off  is said to the cause behind the incident.

SHO, Nokha police station, said that Anita Kumari and Guru Rajwar were residents of Rampur village under Nokha police station. They belonged to the same caste and were in love for the last four years and wanted tie the knot but their parents were not ready and so they fled away from their houses on January 25, 2019. Their family members tried to locate them but in vain and at last their bodies were found on railway track on Ara-Sasaram section lying in a pool of blood on January 27, the SHO added.
