2 killed, 9 injured in head-on collision between Sumo & Bolero in Patna

Patna : Two  persons died and 9 others were injured in a head-on collision between a Bolero and Sumo carrying baarati at 6.30 am on July 5, 2018, on Bakthiyarpur – Patna 4 lane National Highways near village Sukulpur  under Deedarganj police station, Patna. The deceased were identified as Sonu Kumar, driver of Bolero, and Jairam singh.

The ‘barrat’ of Mathura Singh’s son, resident of village Surangpur under Fatuha police station, Patna, was returning from village Kothiya while the Bolero was coming from Bakhtiarpur side.  Sumo driver was speeding in the wrong side and dashed Bolero. Bolero carrying 6-7 persons while Sumo carrying 10 people. Sho, Deedarganj PS, said that the injured have been admitted to different  government and private hospitals.
