Ara : Two motorcycle borne youths were killed while the third one was seriously injured near Arwal bridge under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district in the afternoon on March 12, 2018, when the bike skidded off road when they were going to Peur village from Arwal to attend the marriage ceremony. Police brought the bodies to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there.
The deceased were identified as Baijnath Sah, son of Bihari Sah of Sipaha in Arwal district, and Shailesh Sah, son of Prem Chand of Peur village under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district. The injured was identified as Sarfaraz, son of Shahabuddin, of Arwal district.
Injured in firing : In another incident, a married woman was injured in firing during a marriage ceremony on March 12, 2018, at village Chandi under Chandi police station. She was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors there referred her to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of her precarious condition.
