Bokaro (Jharkhand) : Aditya Mishra (Class VIIID) and  Harsh Raj (Class IXD) of DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, emerged Champion at  Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) – ‘Saksham’ National Quiz Competition 2021 organised by Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India (GoI). The winning trophy was clinched by the duo after battling their brains against 110 teams that participated at the event from across the country.

The result of the competition organised on the  virtual platform was declared on September 19, 2021. The winners receive a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a certificate each. PCRA is a registered society set up under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, which is engaged in promoting energy efficiency in various sectors of economy.

Congratulating the winners, AS Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro, said that it is essential for the students to understand the importance of the judicious use of resources given by Mother Earth to ensure sustainable development. “There is no substitute for diligence and this accomplishment is a reflection of the hard work put forward by our students,” Gangwar said.
