Patna : The exponential rise in the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured continues in India reaching 1,94,324 at 8 am on June 18, 2020, an increase of 7,390 during last 24 hours. The recovery rate exceeds 52.8 %. Coronavirus death too has jumped to 12,237 with 334 new deaths  being reported from different parts of the country since June 17, 2020, morning.

In Maharashtra, 59,166 patients have been cured but it has also reported 5,651 deaths till date. In Telengana, 27,624 patients have been cured followed by 17,457 in in Delhi, 17,430 in Gujarat, 10,467 in Rajasthan, 8,388 in MP, and 4,926 in Bihar.

Coronavirus death toll climbed to 102 in Karnataka, 90 in Andhra Pradesh, 65 in J&K, 78 in Punjab, 44 in Bihar, and 10 in Jharkhand, on June 18.

The Coronavirus death toll break-up is : Maharashtra (5,651), Delhi (1,904), Gujarat (1,560), Tamilnadu (576), West Bengal (506), Madhya Pradesh (482), UP (435), Rajasthan (313), Telengana (192), Haryana (130), Karnataka (102), Andhra Pradesh (90), Punjab (78), J&K (65), Bihar (44), Uttarakhand ( 26), Kerala (20), Odisha (11), Chhattisgarh (10), Jharkhand (10), Assam (8), Himachal Pradesh (8), Puducherry (7), Chandigarh (6), Ladakh( 1), Meghalaya (1), and Tripura (1).

Maharshtra has reported 114 new deaths during last 24 hours while Delhi has reported 67 new deaths. Tamilnadu has reported 81 new deaths while Gujarat has reported 27 new deaths. Haryana has reported 12 new deaths.
