New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients declared cured rose to 4,95,512 in India at 8 am on July 10, 2020, an increase of 19,135 during last 24 hours exceeding the number of active cases by 2,18,827. Coronavirus death toll, on the other hand, too has jumped to 21,604 in the country with 475 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country.

As far COVID-19 patients getting cured goes, in Maharashtra alone 1,27,279 patients have been declared cured till date followed by 82,226 in Delhi, 78,161 in Tamilnadu, 27,718 in Gujarat, 21,127 in UP, 14,510 in Haryana, 12,833 in Karnataka, 12,232 in MP, and 9,816 in Bihar. India’s COVID-19 recovery rate is steadily increasing and has crossed 62% mark.

COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (9,667), Delhi (3,528), Gujarat (2,008), Tamilnadu (1,765), UP (862), West Bengal (854), MP (634), Rajasthan (491),  Karnataka (486), Telengana (331), Haryana (287), Andhra Pradesh (277), Punjab (183), J&K (154),  Bihar (115), Odisha (52), Uttarakhand (46), Kerala (27), Jharkhand (23), Assam (22), Chhattisgarh (15), Puducherry (14), Himachal Pradesh (11), Goa (9), Chandigarh (7), Arunachal Pradesh (2),  Meghalaya (2), Ladakh (1), and Tripura (1).
