18 yr old girl dies in fire at Bhojpur village

Ara : Minta Kumari, 18, daughter of Shivmuni Yadav, was burnt to death after her hut caught fire on June 30, 2018, morning, at village Babhangawa under Krishnagarha police station in Bhojpur district. Later, police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Krishnagarh police station, said that Shivmuni Yadav along with his family members was sleeping in his hut at village Babhangawa. On June 30 morning, all the family members except Shivmuni Yadav’s daughter Minta Kumari 18 woke up and engaged in household works. In the meantime, the hut caught fire due to short circuit. The villagers tried to extinguish the burning flame but could not rescue Minta who received serious burn injuries and died immediately. The SHO that the marriage of Minta was to be solemnised next week but all the goods collected for the pupose were destroyed in the fire.
