18 contract school teachers being dismissed in Rohtas for getting job on fake degrees

Sasaram : Rohtas district administration has initiated steps to dismiss 18 contract school teachers for getting job on the basis of fake degrees. Rohtas District Programme Officer (establishment), in a communication to the Block Education Officer (BEOs),  has asked him to dismiss and withhold salary of 18 contract teachers, who got job on the basis of fake degrees, with immediate effect. All these teachers had got degrees from a non-recognized institution, Navbharat Shiksha Parishad, Odisha, and succeeded in getting job of contract teachers.

The education department, after scrutiny, found that 18 persons got the job of contract teachers on the basis of degrees from the Navbharat Shiksha Parishad, a non-recognized institution in Odisha, and were posted in four blocks in Rohtas district.

The DPO (establishment) said that 18 teachers posted in four blocks in Rohtas district : Rinku Kumari, Middle School, Darnagar, Urmila Devi, Middle School, Tiura Kala under Nauhatta block, Kedar Singh, Middle School, Durgadih, Rinki Kumari, Upgraded Middle School, Udaydihari under Bikramganj block, Reena Kumari, Upgraded Middle School, Marojhia under Nasariganj block, Sunil Kumar, Middle School, Amartha, Subhash Ranjan, Middle School, Baradih, Binay Kumar, Primary School, Kishuadi, Jai Prakash, Primary School, Jahanpura, Shashibhushan, Middle School, Badh, Indu Kumari, Ashok Middle School, Amaura, Bijay Kumar, Middle School, Chandi, Kanhaiya, Middle School, Jagdishpur, Mustkim, Middle School, Pandeydihari, Santosh Kumar, Primary School, Jaitola, Udai Shankar Rai, Middle School, Chiksil, Vishwanath, Middle School, Kurur under Karakat block, have been found guilty of getting job on fake certificates and so they are being dismissed and their salary has also been withheld with immediate effect.
