New Delhi :  The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured rose to 5,71,459 in India at 8 am on July 14, 2020, an increase of 17,989 during last 24 hours exceeding the number of active cases by 2,59,894. The number of active cases in the country is 3,11,565.

The COVID death toll, on the other hand, has jumped to 23,727 in the country with 553 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country during last 24 hours including  193 from Maharashtra, 73 from Karnataka, 66 from Tamilnadu, 40 from Delhi, 37 from Andhras Pradesh, 21 from UP, and 17 from Bihar, In Bihar, two doctors – one from Patna Medical College & Hospital and one from Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital (ANMMCH), Gaya,  died on July 13, 2020, due to Coronavirus at AIIMS Patna where they were under treatment.

COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (10,482), Delhi (3,411), Gujarat (2,055), Tamilnadu (2,032), UP (955), West Bengal (956), Karnataka (757), MP (663), Rajasthan (525), Telengana (365), Andhra Pradesh (365), Haryana (308), Punjab (204), J&K (187),  Bihar (160), Odisha (70), Uttarakhand (49), Assam (36), Kerala (33), Jharkhand (33), Chhattisgarh (19), Puducherry (18), Goa (17), Himachal Pradesh (11), Chandigarh (8), Arunachal Pradesh (2),  Meghalaya (2), Tripura (2), and Ladakh (1).
