16 DPS Bokaro students clear Science Maths Talent Examination, 4 qualify for KVPY

Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : The students of DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand have once again proved their mettle with 16 of them clearing Science Maths Talent Examination (SMTE) and another four qualifying for one of the most sought-after scholarships under KVPY (Kishore Vigyan Protsahan Yojana) Stage I 2019-20.

Sixteen students of DPS Bokaro qualified SMTE conducted by DPS Society in Association with Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) while four students made it to the prestigious KVPY conducted by Government of India.

The students who qualified the first stage of SMTE are:  Krrish Chanchal, Anamika, Advay Kumar, Khushi Bharati, Aryan Kashap, Anubhav Gupta, Ritul Kumar Singh, Kumar Ankesh, Ashutosh Singh, Som Nath Roy, Mayank Sengar, Prince Kumar, Tanu Shree, Abhijeet, Asad Farraj, and Tanmay Gaurav.

The four students who cleared the first stage of KVPY are: Utkarsh Aditya, Tanya Singh, Abhijeet Kumar and Utkarsh Kumar.

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Programme of Fellowship in Basic Sciences initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.
