New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured is rising steadily in India reaching 4.39,947 at 8 am on July 7, 2020, an increase of 15,515 during last 24 hours exceeding the number of active cases in the country by 1,80,390. The COVID death toll has jumped to 20,160 in the country with 467 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country including 188 from Maharashtra, 61 from Tamilnadu, 48 from Delhi, 29 from Karnataka, 24 from UP, and 22 from West Bengal.
COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (9,026), Delhi (3,115), Gujarat (1,960), Tamilnadu (1,571), UP (809), West Bengal (779), MP (617), Rajasthan (461), Karnataka (401), Telengana (306), Haryana (276), Andhra Pradesh (239), Punjab (169), J&K (138), Bihar (97), Uttarakhand (42), Odisha (38), Kerala (27), Jharkhand (20), Chhattisgarh (14), Assam (14), Puducherry (12), Himachal Pradesh (11), Goa (7), Chandigarh (6), Arunachal Pradesh (2), Ladakh(1), Meghalaya (1), and Tripura (1).
In Maharashtra, 1,15,262 patients have been declared cured till date while 72,088 patients have been cured in Delhi sand 66,5712 in Tamilnadu.
