New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients declared cured rose to 4,24,432 in India at 8 am on July 6, 2020, an increase of 15,350 during last 24 hours exceeding the number of active cases by 1,71,145. Coronavirus death toll, on the other hand, has jumped to 19,693 in the country with 425 new death including 151 from Maharashtra, 63 from Delhi, 60 from Tamilnadu, and 37 from Karnataka being reported from different places in the country during the period.
COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (8,822), Delhi (3,067), Gujarat (1,943), Tamilnadu (1,510), UP (785), West Bengal (757), MP (608), Rajasthan (456), Telengana (295), Karnataka (372), Haryana (265), Andhra Pradesh (232), Punjab (164), J&K (132), Bihar (95), Uttarakhand (42), Odisha (36), Kerala (25), Jharkhand (19), Chhattisgarh (14), Assam (14), Puducherry (12), Himachal Pradesh (11), Goa (7), Chandigarh (6), Arunachal Pradesh (1), Ladakh(1), Meghalaya (1), and Tripura (1).
As far COVID-19 patients getting cured goes, in Maharashtra alone 1,11,740 patients have been declared cured followed by 71,339 in Delhi, 62,778 in Tamilnadu, 25,892 in Gujarat, 18,761 in UP, 14,711 in West Bengal, 12,944 in Haryana, 9,847 in Karnataka, and 8,765 in Bihar.
