1,500 bottles of duplicate rosewter seized in Kaimur

Bhabhua: Kaimur police raided a shop and house of a businessman of Kudara Bazaar under Kudara police station in Kaimur district on Friday and seized 1,500 bottles of duplicate rosewater carrying labels of Dabur Company though the shopkeeper escaped from the scene. A named FIR has been lodged with Kudara police station in this regard against the shopkeeper.

Police sources said that Dabur Company got information that duplicate rosewater in  the name of Dabur was being sold in the open market at Kudara Bazaar under Kudara police station in  Kaimur district after which a team of Dabur Company from New Delhi reached Kudara on Friday and with the help of local police raided the shop and house of a businessman from where 1,500 bottles of duplicate rosewater packed in bottles of Dabur Company worth about Rs 22,500 were seized.

People said that duplicate items of each and every branded company were openly being sold in the market with impunity right under the nose of district administration cheating the people.
