15 yr old boy shot dead at Buxar village

Buxar : Some armed miscreants shot dead Chandan Yadav, 15, son of Laloo Yadav, at Shivdhyani Dera in Ariao panchayat under Krishnabrahm police station in Buxar district on April 5, 2019, late evening.

Police brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Old land dispute is said to be the cause behind the murder. Tension prevails in and around the village following the incident.

SHO, Krishnabrahm police station, Manornjan Prasad Rai said that an FIR was lodged in October 2018 after clash between two groups at the village in a dispute over a plot. He said that on April 5 late evening, Chandan Yadav was standing at the gate of his house when some armed miscreants came and started firing indiscriminately killing Chandan Yadav on the spot.

An FIR has been lodged with police but no arrest has so far been made in this connection. The SHO said that police are conducting raids at different places to arrest the miscreants and hoped that they would be arrested very soon.
