Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar increased to 2,58,883 on January 18, 2021, afternoon, as 144 more persons including 53 from Patna, 11 from Arwal, 10 from Gaya, and 9 from Saran, tested positive for the pandemic on January 17, 2021.
Meanwhile, altogether 14,745 Corona Warriors were vaccinated against Covid-19 at 301 Session Sites in Bihar on January 18, 2021. The registered beneficiaries will be vaccinated against Covid-19 on fours days in a week : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The second dose will be administered 28 days after the administration of first dose.
Of the 2,58,883 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, a total of 2,53,913 patients have been declared cured including 344 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 98.08% on January 18, 2021. Bihar has tested 1,99,75,038 samples so far including 73,259 samples on January 17, 2021. The number of active cases in Bihar was 3,509 on January 18, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,460 in Bihar on January 18, 2021, with 3 new deaths being recorded in the state in last 24 hours including 1 each from Patna, Darbhanga, and Nalanda. The toll increased to 402 in Patna on January 18, 2021.
