New Delhi : The number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured rose to 3,94,226 in India at 8 am on July 4, 2020, an increase of 14,335 during last 24 hours, exceeding the total number of active cases by 1,58,793. The number of active cases stands at 2,35,433 in the country.

On the negative side, Coronavirus death toll in India has jumped to 18,659 with 446 new deaths being reported from different parts of the country including 198 from Maharashtra, 64 from Tamilnadu, 59 from Delhi, and 21 from Karnataka,  during last 24 hours.

COVID-19 death toll break-up in India is : Maharashtra (8,376), Delhi (2,923), Gujarat (1,904), Tamilnadu (1,385), UP (749), West Bengal (717), MP (593), Rajasthan (440),  Telengana (283), Karnataka (293), Haryana (255), Andhra Pradesh (206), Punjab (157), J&K (119),  Bihar (84), Uttarakhand (42), Odisha (29), Kerala (25), Jharkhand (15), Chhattisgarh (14), Assam (14), Puducherry (12), Himachal Pradesh (10), Chandigarh (6), Goa (4), Arunachal Pradesh (1), Ladakh(1), Meghalaya (1), and Tripura (1).

As far COVID-19 patients getting cured goes, 1,04,687 patients have been declared cured in Maharashtra til date followed by 65,624 in Delhi, 58,378 in Tamilnadu, 24,933 in Gujarat, 17,597 in UP, 15,281 in Rajasthan, 13,571 in West Bengal, 11,691 in Haryana, 11,049 in MP, 10,195 in Telengana, 8,805 in Karnataka, 8,214 in Bihar, 7,632 in Andhara Pradesh, 6,349 in Assam, 5,705 in Odisha, 5,075 in J&K, and 4,266 in Punjab.
