Buxar : Police seized 1,364 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a car and also arrested a liquor smuggler near Narayanpur canal under Sikraul police station in Buxar district on July 1, 2017, morning though two other liquor smugglers managed to escape. Later, police forwarded the arrested liquor smuggler to jail.
SHO, Sikraul police station, said that the liquor smugglers were taking the consignment to Maliabagh in Rohtas district. The arrested liquor smuggler was identified as Sanjay Paswan of Mahdah under Buxar Muffassil police station while the absconding liquor smugglers were identified as Nibhakar Yadav of Mahdah under Buxar Muffassil police station and Sonu Yadav of Sarasti village under Itadhi police station in Buxar district.
