New Delhi : Coronavirus (COVID-19) patients getting cured/discharged rose to 1,35,205 in India at 8 am on June 10, 2020, a big jump of 5,892 during last 24 hours. The number of patients cured  now exceeds the number of active cases in the country which stands at 1,33,632. In Maharashtra alone 42,638 patients have been cured followed by 18,325 in Tamilnadu, 14,365 in Gujarat, 11,861 in Delhi, 8,328 in Rajasthan, 6,729 in MP, 6,669 in Uttar Pradesh, 3,620 in West Bengal, 2,864 in Bihar, 2,802 in Andhra Pradesh, 2,604 in Karnataka, 2,134 in Haryana, and 559 in Jharkhand.

Coronavirus death has surged to 7,746 in India with 274 new deaths being reported from different parts of India including 144 from Delhi,  120 from Maharashtra, and 33 from Gujarat  during last 24 hours.

The coronavirus death toll break-up is : Maharashtra ( 3,289), Gujarat (1,313), Delhi ( 905), MP (420), West Bengal (415), Tamilnadu (307), UP (301), Rajsthan (255), Telengana (148), Andhra Pradesh (77), Karnataka (66), Punjab (55), J&K (48), Haryana (45), Bihar (33), Kerala (16), Uttarakhand (13), Odisha (9), Jharkhand (8), Chhattisgarh (6), Chandigarh (5), Himachal Pradesh (5), Assam (4), Ladakh (1), Tripura (1), and Meghalaya (1).
