Patna : The CO VID-19 cases has crossed 1.5 lakh mark in Bihar reaching 1,50,694 on September 8, 2020, as 1,667 more persons including 208 from Patna, 129 from Purnia, 119 from Araria, 96 from Bhagalpur, 68 from East Champaran, 65 from Muzaffarpur, 62 from West Champaran, 57 from Gopalganj, and 53 from Madhepura, tested positive to it on September 7, 2020.
Of the 1,50,694 COVID -19 cases reported till date in Bihar, a total of 1,34,089 patients have been declared/discharged in it state including 1,944 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 88.98%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 15,839 on September 8, 2020.
The state has tested 43,28,593 COVID-19 samples so far including 1,52,671 on September 7, 2020. Bihar had tested 1,53,156 COVID samples on September 7, 2020.
The COVID-19 death toll increased to 765 on September 8, 2020, with four new deaths being reported during last 24 hours including two from East Champaran and one each from Patna and Arwal. The toll has increased to 178 in Patna.
